Arica runs on the WhatsApp Platform (one of the Meta Companies), and we collect information that you voluntarily provide when using our services (that is, interacting with Arica contact). This includes information sent through WhatsApp messages, as well as any content you upload or share with us.

*Note: Arica does not permanently store user-uploaded media files such as images and audio. Such media files may be temporarily retrieved and processed solely for the purpose of generating a requested report and are deleted after processing is complete. Media handling is also subject to the policies and practices of Meta and the WhatsApp Business Platform.

Content Processed Through Arica

To provide the Service, Arica may process the information collected from user interactions with Arica contact. The end result of this processing is the generation of structured report in PDF format. The PDF is generated and stored on our Cloud infrastructure.

We do not claim ownership of the content you submit to Arica. You retain all rights to your content, and we only process it for the purpose of providing the Service.

When you communicate with Arica through WhatsApp: Arica only processes information necessary to provide its services.

6. Generated Reports and User Content

Arica processes content submitted by users to create structured reports and PDF documents. You retain ownership of the content you submit. By using the Service, you grant Arica permission to process, store, and transform your submitted content solely for the purpose of providing the requested Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

The content you share with Arica is processed solely for the purpose of generating structured PDF reports and providing the Service.

When a user creates a new report, the content associated with the previously generated report is deleted from our system. This means that only the content relevant to the most recently generated report is retained in our system at any given time.

The PDF report generated is retained in our system for the duration of 31 days, starting from the first time the said report is generated by the user. After this duration, the PDF report is deleted from the Cloud infrastructure. The deleted files are held for a duration of 7 days as per Cloud provider's retention policy, after which they are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Since Arica delivers the generated PDF to the user, the user can choose to download and store the PDF on their own device or cloud storage for as long as they wish.

Email communications with user regarding application support or any other matters may be retained for support and legal purposes. These communications may be retained for a reasonable period of time, typically up to 1 year, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Application/Security Logs

Arica maintains application, security, and operational logs for the purpose of monitoring service performance, troubleshooting issues, detecting misuse, maintaining security, and complying with legal obligations. These logs may contain technical information such as timestamps, request identifiers, IP addresses, error information, and account identifiers.

Application, security, and operational logs are generally retained for up to 30 days. In certain circumstances, including security investigations, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or operational requirements, some logs may be retained for up to 365 days, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
